In the first six months of sixth grade I have achieved many goals that I have set for myself both socially and academically. This is my first year in ISKL and I think that it is a great school that teaches you about everything! Let me tell you about my goals: I wanted to make many friends in ISKL and I did. I wanted to make good friends on this school and I have. These were my scocial goals which I mostly achieved. My adcademic goals were that I should get at lest a "B" in all my grades which I am still working on that goal. Another goal is that I should do most of my homework on time and I have done some of it on time but I still have to work a lot on that one. Overall I have done most of my goals.

In my first six months in ISKL I have leaned many skills that will help me become a better person in the future. Some of these skills I have learned not only from teachers but from the people around me. At my first few days here I observed how all the people here have different personalities. Some nice and helpful. Others Talkative and friendly. Each have something to tell me. One skill I picked up is that how to be nicer and more sensitive about the people around me. Some of the skills I have learned are the SLR's. Because of them I can take more steps in to becoming a better person.

Some of the skills I want to learn in the next 6 months of sixth grade are that I want to become a more honest and trustworthy person. I want to become a better person by any steps necessary. I also want to improve on my communication skills because I feel that the only way to make some kind of decision is by communicating well. These are the skills that I most want to learn in the next six months at ISKL.

My goals for the next six months are to play in my first concert with my trombone in beginner band because I think it will be a great experience and I like to play my trombone so i want to play it in a concert. Another goal I have for the next six months are getting into lots of tournaments in tennis. I like tennis I want to play in lots of tournaments and a lot of matches and get better at the same time. I also want to improve on my grades for all subjects. I would like to get above an A- in math and science because I am not very got at humanities and math and science are the next two core subject.

Letter to Supeet

To Supeet,

I have read your story about saving Jacobs father, the elephants and preformed the rain ceremony. It was truly amazing how you did this. I liked the part when you teach Jacob about surviving in the wild. You thought him how to almost become invisible and how to see properly in the wild. To be honest, I don't think that Jacob would have gotten anywhere without you. You were a truly amazing friend and you had only known him for less than a week. It was great!

I have always had some questions for you. Here the are they are: What happened after the story? You went back to the Masai tribe but did Jacob come to visit you? Or did you save lots of money for a trip to America where you could live better. Another question I have for you is that why did you go back to the Masai tribe when you could have gone to live with Jacob in America? Is it because you still think that you belong in the Masai tribe?

I really liked your story! Can you persuade the author to make another? Thanks! Those story has thought me a lot about friendship because Supeet and Jacob are two totally different people with different quests but the still manage to become friends and complete their respective quest by helping each other. I will never forget this story!
